Me Visiting Wittenberg

Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg church on October 31, 1517.

Now is your chance to nail the location of some of your favorite stories of the New Testament into your memory!

The 27 books of the New Testament

Memorize them in less that 10 minutes and remember them for a lifetime using an ancient memory technique called chaining/linking.

Hi, I’m Pastor Chester Hitchcock

After learning some ancient memory techniques while I was in college, I developed a fun and easy way to remember where to find familiar stories in the New Testament.

When I was assigned a parish I began using these memory techniques in mid-week Bible groups to remember where to find familiar stories in the four accounts of the Gospel; Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and the group members had fun each week as I taught it to them.

Once I had all four books completed I decided to try teaching it to a group of early teens during a week long camp meeting. The kids had more fun during class than they had ever had before and told their parents all about it. At the end of the camp meeting we had the earliteen group to gather up front in the main auditorium and demonstrate their Bible memory skills before the congregation of about 700 people. They were all impressed.

The following year the Conference leadership asked if I would teach the course to the adults. Some of the attendees were in their 80's and 90's and at the end of the week everyone felt like Bible memory pros.

You can do this too, so give it a try!
